Logic Pro 9 Tutorial Video

Research Thus Far

Writing and recording music has gotten increasingly more reliant on technology in recent years. Artists are taking the act of recording out of the conventional recording studio and into their homes with programs such as Pro Tools, Logic and Reason. This has proved to be a cheaper and easier way to record music than going into a studio and paying a producer by the hour. It also allows the artist to write music in whatever environment he or she pleases because of the increased mobility of the recording technology. Music is becoming more technologically based and this is a good thing for artists and producers for many reasons.
The most popular recording software is currently the program Pro Tools version 9.6. Pro Tools is a digital audio interface program that can be used on both Windows and Mac operating systems. It is used in most professional studios as well as in many peoples' home studios as a primary recording platform. Producers and musicians are capable of achieving very high quality recordings using Pro Tools.
